Ísafjörður (Isafjordur), Iceland - Perched on a sand-spit jutting out into an inlet on one of northwest Iceland's deepest fjords, Ísafjörður has a fine natural harbour which has made this one of the country's main fishing and trading centres for over 250 years.

Akureyri, Iceland - On your journey to Akureyri you’ll sail through the longest fjord in Iceland, Eyjafjordur, a wonderful prelude to your time on shore. If you’re looking for culture then head to Listagil, the centre of arts, crafts and design in Akureyri. To discover the surrounding natural wonders, take a sightseeing tour to Godafoss, ‘Waterfall of the Gods’ and Lake Myvatn. A visit here also offers the rare chance to go whale watching and see these splendid creatures in their natural environment: look out for Blue, Fin, Humpback, Minke and Sei whales.

Cruising Eyjafjörður - Eyjafjörður is the longest fjord in Iceland. At the edge of the Arctic circle, it lies on the migratory routes of whales and birds - be sure to have your camera to hand!

Cruising by Hrisey, Iceland - Cruise by Hrisey, a peaceful island situated in the middle of the Eyjafjordur, just off the north coast of Iceland

Cruising Skjálfandi Bay - Regarded as one of the world’s best whale watching and bird spotting destinations, Skjálfandi Bay is a truly special, awe-inspiring place to visit.

Its remoteness and hard-to-reach location makes a visit here even more special: one of the advantages of cruising the Icelandic coast. The valley above the town echoes to the sound of the 25 thundering waterfalls formed by the river Fjaroara as it cascades down to a lagoon at the head of the fjord.

BLACK WATCH - Fred Olsen Line

The Black Watch is the ultimate home from home at sea, spacious with a friendly, familiar feel and providing a traditional cruise experience.  Refurbished at the end of 2016, the ship features stylish new decor, fittings and furniture, plus the new 'The Poolside' restaurant.  What is more, new TVs, mini-bars and safes enhance the accommodation on board, whistl the on board cinema has been upgraded too.  Despite all these new features, Black Watch still retains her cleek, intimate style and has a welcoming ambience just like the rest of the Fred.Olsen fleet.
