Day One

After joining your coach from your selected pick-up point we begin our journey. Today we enjoy a boat trip on the Llangollen Canal, travel along the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, a World Heritage Site, over 30 thrilling metres above the River Dee and built 200 years ago. Thomas Telford and William Jessop's awe-inspiring aqueduct is the highest and longest aqueduct on the canal system. Continue to our hotel late afternoon, time to relax before dinner.

Day Two

Today we travel to Kidderminster for a journey aboard a steam locomotive on the Severn Valley Railway. The 16 mile run to Bridgnorth follows the River Severn through glorious and unspoilt countryside. A single journey between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth takes just over an hour and after arrival there will be free time to explore the town, possibly taking the steepest inland funicular railway between the lower and upper town.

Day Three

Enjoy our final breakfast before we depart our hotel and make our journey home.

PARK INN by Radisson, Telford

Bright, colourful rooms come with flat screen TVs, free WiFi, work desks, tea/coffeemaking facilities. Hotel amenities include a lounge bar and a relaxed grill restaurant, as well as a health club with indoor pool, gym, sauna and steam room.
