Embark on one of Durham's walking routes, enjoy a Prince Bishop River Cruise along the River Wear, explore Durham Cathedral set grandly on a rocky promontory next to the Castle with the medieval city huddled below.

Day Four

Today we travel via Spennymoor and Bishop Auckland to the Bowes Museum, this magnificent French Chateau created in the 19th century by John & Josephine Bowes, houses internationally renowned collections of European fine and decorative arts spanning five centuries.
