Day One
We depart from your home and join your coach for the journey north with refreshment stops enroute, arrive at your hotel late afternoon, time to relax before dinner.
Day Two
After a full Scottish breakfast we depart for a full day visit to the capital city of Edinburgh. Our first stop is an included visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia, home to her Majesty the Queen and Royal Family for over 40 years. Follow in the footsteps of Royalty to discover the heart and soul of this most special of Royal residences. We continue into the centre of the city for free time, there is so much to see from the magnificent Castle which dominates the city, The Royal Mile, Holyrood House, the Scottish Whiskey experience and shopping on Princes Street.
Day Three
Today we visit Melrose where the heart of Robert the Bruce is buried in Abbey Gardens; we take time to visit nearby Abbotsford, Sir Walter Scott's home. The visitor centre takes you from his birth in Edinburgh to his childhood in the borders and then his farm as a writer; explore the house and gardens which were fundamentally designed by Scott himself. On our way back to our hotel we stop at Kailzie Gardens in Peebles with its pretty walled garden and greenhouses.
Day Four
This morning we must bid farewell to bonny Scotland and begin our journey home with refreshment stops enroute.

Originally built for the Murrays of Blackbarony, this imposing 16th century tower house has evolved into the modern, welcoming hotel of today. Set in 25 acres of stunning grounds which include the Yew Tree Walk and Lime Avenue, the hotel has an indoor pool and fitness centre and all rooms include tea/coffee making facilities, TV, hairdryer and iron/ironing board.
