Your Fermanagh Lakeland Break includes:

Day One

We depart from you front door and join your tour coach for the journey to Holyhead and our sea crossing to Ireland, arriving at our hotel with time to relax before dinner.

 

Day Two

After a relaxing breakfast we depart for the Ulster American Folk Park, one of the country's most impressive Museums. Costumed re-enactments, themed exhibits and traditional crafts bring to life the epic story of Ireland's emigration from the thatched cottage of Ulster to the American Frontier. A fabulous evening awaits you with a sunset dinner cruise on the peaceful waters of Lough Erne.

Please Note: If cruise is cancelled through inclement weather they will try to arrange an alternative day but this is subject to availability, otherwise dinner will be served in the hotel.

 

Day Three

Today we will explore the Fermanagh Lakelands starting with a lakeside drive to Belleek, the home of Ireland’s oldest pottery established in 1857. The pretty scenery continues past Lough Melvin and Lough MacNean to Florence Court, an 18th century stately home and gardens set beneath the Cuilcagh Mountains.

 

Day Four

Spend the morning exploring Enniskillen built on a natural island at the midpoint of Lough Erne, the largest of the Fermanagh lakes. This attractive waterside setting bustles with boats in the summer and has many lively pubs and restaurants. Visit the prominent 16th century castle, home to the Royal Fusiliers and contains an impressive regimental museum, make time to visit the Buttermarket, a restored dairy market from the early 1800's with a range of Irish craft workshops, studios and

galleries.

 

Day Five

After breakfast we bid farewell and begin our journey back to Dublin and our crossing to Holyhead and home.

Our excursion today takes us to the medieval capital of Ireland and possibly its best preserved city Kilkenny, then we travel to Clonmel on the banks of the River Suir before returning to our hotel.
