This tour is based in the Victorian Spa Town of Llandrindod Wells with its canopied streets and ornamental parklands, a perfect retreat to enjoy the Welsh countryside.

Day One - GOOD FRIDAY

Following your home collection we enjoy a scenic drive through Wales to your hotel, time to relax before dinner.

 

Day Two - EASTER SATURDAY

A morning visit to a very unique hall, Abbey-Cwm-Hir, a Grade II listed property and one of Wales' finest examples of Victorian Gothic Revival architecture. The hall is a step back in time within a setting of breath-taking beauty, history and romance. It sits in 12 acres and is a wonderful journey of discovery, every room a treasure. We’ll then have an afternoon drive through the beautiful Elan Valley with its man-made lakes.

 

Day Three - EASTER SUNDAY

Morning at leisure in Llandrindod Wells before we travel to Aberystwyth and enjoy a ride on the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway which will also include a cream tea, what better way to enjoy Easter.

 

Day Four - EASTER MONDAY

This morning we depart our hotel for our journey home passing Llyn Clywedog and Bala Lake before arriving home late afternoon.

 

 

METROPOLE HOTEL, Llandrindod Wells

Built in 1896 The Metropole Hotel was originally the largest hotel in Wales, still privately own by the great great grandson of the Founder the Metropole The Metropole provides the perfect resting spot for a relaxing break. The hotel also offers superb food and bedrooms that are tastefully decorated, complete with TV, telephone, trouser press, hairdryer, toiletries, tea / coffee making facilities.

 

Day One

GOOD FRIDAY - After your collection from home we join our tour coach and enjoy a scenic drive through Wales to your hotel, time to relax before dinner.
